There are tons of trailers that have been shared from YouTube onto Facebook.
People are getting together with their friends to film their own reactions to
the trailer due to the trailer being so intense.
People that do not usually talk to each other are finding a mutual
interest in this film therefor they are speaking about it and forming a
stronger relationship

The selfish giant allows people to empathise with people that are
that of lower class. If someone knows of someone who is much like the
characters in the selfish giant they allow themselves to become closer to
that person.
I myself have recently shared the selfish giant on tumblr( a social
networking site) and have had people who I haven’t ever met before asking my
opinion of the film.

The selfish giant
A contemporary fable about two scrappy 13-year-old working-class friends in the UK who seek fortune by getting involved with a local scrap dealer and criminal, leading to tragic consequences.
story line
An official selection at the Cannes Film Festival, The Selfish Giant is a contemporary fable about 13 year old Arbor (Conner Chapman) and his best friend Swifty (Shaun Thomas). Excluded from school and outsiders in their own neighbourhood, the two boys meet Kitten (Sean Gilder), a local scrap dealer. Wandering their town with just a horse and a cart, they begin collecting scrap metal for him. Swifty has a natural gift with horses while Arbor emulates Kitten - keen to impress him and make some money. However, Kitten favors Swifty, leaving Arbor feeling hurt and excluded, driving a wedge between the boys. As Arbor becomes increasingly greedy and exploitative, tensions build, leading to a tragic event that transforms them all.

My block buster film (300 Rise of an Empire)
Greek general Themistokles leads the charge against invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes and Artemisia, vengeful commander of the Persian navy.
Storyline
After its victory over Leonidas' 300, the Persian Army under the command of Xerxes marches towards the major Greek city-states. The Democratic city of Athens, first on the path of Xerxes' army, bases its strength on its fleet, led by admiral Themistocles. Themistocles is forced to an unwilling alliance with the traditional rival of Athens, oligarchic Sparta whose might lies with its superior infantry troops. But Xerxes still reigns supreme in numbers over sea and land. Written byGargantuan Media

My idea for a swede
The Hunger Games Sweded

For my idea i felt the hunger games would have been a good idea for sweded film. Firstly we have woodland and open fields around which is the main set for the hunger games. For the reaping the school wouldn't be too bad. Costumes are simple and so are props. Weapons can be made from card and clothes can be plain but similar to the characters.
The only challenge will be getting extras which would be needed however it would be easy if we just went around as asked. as many as possible. I feel that it would be easily pulled off and because of the popularity of the hunger games people would most likely want to watch it.
Although the costumes are extremely simple katnis wears a blue dress for reaping and you would need formal wear for the stage. the stage would most likely be filmed in primmer.

WHAT IS MOVIE SWEDING
The summarized recreation of popular pop-culture films using limited budgets and a camcorder. The process is called sweding. Upon completion the film has been Sweded.
Origins: In the Michel Gondry film BE KIND REWIND, the character Jerry accidentally erases the videotapes at Mos Def's rental store, and the pair remake all the movies themselves. These versions become popular with customers, who are told they take longer to arrive and cost more because they come from Sweden. Hence, the films are referred to as 'Sweded'.

INTRO TO THE FILM INDUSTRY
Iron man 3 sweded
i chose this last video because of how well it was put together.I love the fact they didn't need decent props just something that looks roughly similar and still pulled it off. This gave a humorous appeal to it. I also like how they used used the props and the sound.Sound was good because they did it all themselves and i really enjoyed that.
300 SWEDED
although this was not accurate i found this swede extremely cleaver and i found the acting wonderful. I particularly loved the exaggeration that they used.Although i personally wouldn't want to do this one i enjoyed it.

The Hunger Games swede
i loved this swede due to how accurate it was. I loved the fact they managed to get so many people to contribute and wear costumes. If i were to choose a film to swede it would be this one because i feel it would be fun and easy to pull off.
